Can hybrid sail cargo ships become a viable option for more sustainable shipping?

In the next edition of Windship Insights, we will present the findings of a potential study commissioned by MARIKO GmbH as location of the Competence Center GreenShipping Niedersachsen and conducted by MOVE4WARD. The study takes a closer look at market opportunities, economic viability and environmental potential of hybrid sail cargo ships. It identifies promising market segments and cargo groups, examines cost and emissions effects, and assesses both the opportunities and limitations of wind-powered cargo transport.

Join us for insights into the potential role of wind propulsion in the future of maritime logistics!
